Bogard's opened in October 2006. It took 1- 1/2 years to get the building renovated, having only the weekends (and sometimes not even that) to do the construction.

Two layers of ceiling were removed to expose the original tin ceiling underneath and walls that divided up the front of the store were taken down. Several large construction dumpsters were filled and refilled with demolition debris!

Named after Carson's great, great, great grandmother, Mary Bogard (photo below) of New Orleans, Louisiana, Bogard's has the area's finest gifts and collectibles. Come shop us in downtown Moberly!!!
